The Arriba variety is renowned for its floral aromas, delicate fruity touches and natural richness. Hand-picked when fully ripe, the beans come exclusively from Ecuadorian farms committed to sustainable, chemical-free agriculture.

Once the beans have been harvested and prepared locally, they are sent to Switzerland, where they are processed according to a controlled artisan process:

Del Oro beans undergo a strict on-site treatment process:

  • Fermented in wood for 4 to 6 days

  • Natural sun-drying with moisture content reduced to 7%.

  • Manual sorting and hulling, keeping only the highest-quality beans

This post-harvest treatment is essential to stabilize taste and guarantee the consistency of the final product.
