History of Maison Tille
Founded in 1955 by Mr. Jules Tille, the company was born when he took over Mr. Zollinger’s small equipment store in Lausanne, which he managed for a few years. Shortly afterwards, his brother, Mr Samuel Tille, joined him to contribute to the company’s development. Together, they moved to Romanel-sur-Lausanne to expand and began installing bakery machines and ovens.
A pioneer in the field, Samuel introduced Kemper mixers from Germany, as well as Bertrand dividers and shapers, and became the first official dealer for the Seewer Rondo brand. Over the years, Maison Tille has built up a solid reputation, with over 100 Beaumann and 200 Leutenegger und Frei ovens installed.
In 1992, Laurent Tille took over and moved the company to Étagnières, where he opened a 600 m² store, including a machine repair and maintenance workshop and a stock of over 10,000 spare parts. A visionary, he launched Switzerland’s first online sales site for bakery products, which was upgraded on December 1, 2015.
