Copper pans, a heritage of quality
Copper is the material of choice for top chefs. It is durable and has excellent technical characteristics. The heat in copper pans is evenly distributed through the bottom and sides. Thanks to the optimal heat conduction provided by this noble metal, you can be sure of perfect sauces and chocolate melts.
A material for every application
Copper pans are also perfectly suited to the delicate work of sugar and reduction cooking in general. The success of the latter depends largely on the quality of heating and temperature control. Copper is the ideal material for crystallizations and caramels. In fact, it can reach high temperatures very quickly and evenly.
It’s a real pleasure to work with copper pans, often associated with haute gastronomy. Their refined aesthetics and efficiency make them ideal partners for tasty cooking. This material will also blend in perfectly with your kitchen interior.
Caution!
Be careful to use potholders or other protection to avoid burns when gripping the pan handle.
Maintenance tips
Never wash your copper utensils in the dishwasher. To effectively care for your copper pots and pans, simply clean the inside with hot, soapy water and scrub gently with a soft brush.
If you want to restore copper’s characteristic shine, there’s no need to use a detergent. You can opt for an eco-friendly solution by applying and polishing the copper parts of your pans with a mixture of equal parts vinegar, flour and salt. Then rub with a soft cloth to restore your pots and pans to their original shine.
Induction hobs
Since copper is not inductive, we offer our induction relay disc, which is positioned directly between the hob and the pan for identical results. You can find this product in our Cookware category or by clicking on this link.
